Minecraft 1.18 is now available worldwide for everyone to play. It is available for download and can be downloaded now.
We'll keep you updated throughout the coming week with the latest mods, textures and other goodies.
Release Date Confirmed
We now finally know that Minecraft Caves and Cliffs part 2 will launch on November 30th, later this month.
You have less than two weeks to have everything prepared and downloaded on time.
Minecraft 1.18 Release Date
We have had a few pretty accurate guesses. Finally, we know it will be arriving on November 30th.
The team has been releasing tonnes of new images, and testing the waters for their new ideas. The team should be on the right track if everything goes as planned and there are no major problems. This means that we should expect to see the update some time between November and December this year.
Release Time
We don't have the exact release date yet, but we do have a decent idea. Caves and Cliffs Part 1 was updated around 1 pm ET / 6 pm BST on Tuesday, the 8th of June.
We can expect something similar for the second part.
What's in it?
Minecraft 1.18 is all about caves and cliffs. Part one was about laying the groundwork. This is part two. We can expect massive changes in the ways structures are constructed and caves will be larger, with new biomes and new places to explore.

Snapshots are a way for the team to try out new features with a small portion of the playerbase. They basically treat players as bug testers, getting players to report any issues and help the team build an improved game.
